Unprecedented TV Coverage for USA Outdoor Championships

World Championships qualifier returns to Eugene, Oregon, June 23-26

INDIANAPOLIS – The 2011 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships – set for Eugene, Oregon on June 23-26 – will have more television exposure than ever before, thanks to a partnership with Universal Sports.

Two 90-minute broadcasts will air on Universal Sports on Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26, in addition to the previously scheduled shows on ESPN2 and NBC. With the multi-platform approach, the championships will boast seven hours of television coverage.

"With the addition of Universal Sports to the championships we will be providing track and field fans with unprecedented coverage across multiple platforms, including broadcast television, cable and internet," said USATF interim CEO Mike McNees. "This is an exciting enhancement for the USA Outdoor Championships".
